According to knowyourmeme.com, “GRWM is a slang term and acronym for Get Ready With Me that refers to a genre of vlog-style videos in which users show themselves doing their hair and makeup or dressing in an outfit, sometimes while talking with their viewers. GRWM videos first became popularized on YouTube in 2011.”

10 emerging artists from across the nation come together to explore their own daily rituals through a range of media such as video, painting, photo, and sculpture. Within their works, the themes of technology, makeup, capitalism, tenderness, and fate all coalesce into a scene of girls getting ready for a night out.
